Infrastructure Defense Technologies (IDT) is a developer, manufacturer, and marketer of physical security products designed to meet the threats of the 21st Century. Our mission is to design, develop, prototype, test, market, and manufacture low-technology, rapidly deployable, cost effective products or systems designed to protect high value targets against terrorist attacks involving the use of KINETIC FORCE (such as speeding vehicles, explosive devices, ballistic weapons, etc.). We accomplish these tasks where no current protective technology exists, and bring our products from concept to Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) status within one year. Our clients are responsible for the protection of one or more high consequence assets which require protection against an authenticated threat. IDT maintains its headquarters and manufacturing operations in Belvidere, Illinois and a Government Projects Office in Washington, DC.
