Kerry Americas is a food company. More accurately, we are a food technology company. We make the ingredients that go into the foods you eat every day. We call what we do "Application Specific Ingredients." We specialize in custom-designed food technologies, things that go beyond typical commodities or additives. Most often, our products are multiple-ingredient food components that deliver specific taste, appearance, texture or nutritional characteristics to our customers' finished products. Which still begs the question: what do we make? The answer is that we make a little bit of everything that goes in great food. Everything from cheese sauce for dinner kits, to gourmet breaders that go on appetizers, to organic seasonings for snacks and cheesecake bits for ice cream. We also make more than a few finished products. Our new Foodservice division makes a variety of products that we sell directly to restaurants. In fact, there's a very good chance that the flavored syrup that went in to your coffee this morning was made by Kerry. Which brings me to our clientele. Our customers are quite literally the world's biggest and best-known food manufacturers, retailers and restaurants. They are the blue chip companies of the industry, who do business with us because of the value, innovation and creativity we offer them. They come to us because we're constantly evolving and expanding our range of products, and because we combine global assets and capability with small company service. In an industry not always known for excitement, we're the company that's always looking ahead. And that's what makes us eager to get to work in the morning.
