Illumination Arts publishes high quality, enlightening children's picture books with enduring, inspiring and spiritual values. Our aim is to touch people's lives with stories of illumination and transformation. We are currently seeking fiction and non-fiction stories from 500 to 2,000 words. Authors interested in submitting their writing should use the following steps: Review our books to determine if your submission is appropriate for our company. Type your manuscript.Make sure the text is double-spaced and that your name and address appear in the header. Please keep a copy of your work. Proofread your manuscript for spelling and grammatical errors. Put together a submission packet including: Cover letter, including your name, address, phone number, and the word count of the story. Your manuscript A short author's bio with personal and professional background and a list of previously published material, if any. A description of what makes your book special and different from others currently on the market in the same category. A description of how you will be able to assist in the promotion of this book. A SASE (self-addressed stamped envelope) with sufficient postage. Include extra postage if you wish to have your work returned to you. Sample illustrations are accepted but by no means required or encouraged.
