EHSI was formed in 1996 with a focus on environmental health and safety. In 2001, the owner retired and the company was purchased by Mr. Larry Toimil, who was Principal at the time. Under his leadership, the company has experienced steady growth and expansion. Revenues and profit margins have steadily increased year after year along with the number of personnel. The company currently has 20 employees and is planning to hire more professional staff in the upcoming year. Over the past several years the firm has expanded its service areas and market sectors served. In our Earth Sciences division, we recently added LiDAR and remote sensing services as well as natural resources and permitting support for municipalities and other valued Clients. EHSI also recently acquired Healthy Buildings, Inc., an indoor air quality specialty company. Healthy Buildings is a recognized leader and authority regarding issues with mold and other indoor air quality concerns. HBI is frequently relied upon to test Indoor Environmental Quality criteria for LEED certification. This acquisition further strengthens EHSI's capabilities in the indoor air quality and mold arena. Headquartered in Bellevue, Washington (Seattle), the majority of our projects are located in the Greater Puget Sound area. We also frequently perform work throughout Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington and manage projects in other areas of North America for our Clients and Partners.
