The Beaverton Pet Clinic was founded on April 1, 1966 by Dr. Eugene Davis. The practice was housed in a triangular building that stood on the same site upon which the current building now stands. During his career, Dr. Davis cared for countless thousands of pets and livestock and was also actively involved in supporting Christian missionary causes, primarily in India. Dr. Chris Wilson joined the practice as a new graduate in 1982 but extended family issues necessitated his return to his home state of Nebraska in 1985. In that same year, a rerouting of city streets forced Dr. Davis to relocate the clinic to a former residence on Henry Street. Dr. Wilson then rejoined Dr. Davis in 1991 and purchased the practice in 1994 on the occasion of Dr. Davis' retirement. In 2000, yet another rerouting of city streets resulted in a second relocation to the Beaverton Mall. Two years later, when the landlord decided to demolish the building in which Beaverton Pet Clinic was housed, Dr. Wilson once again moved the practice to the original location on Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway, thus coming full circle. Short of purchasing our own free-standing building, we hope that this move will be our last!
