Hammes and Associates, is a management and human resource consulting firm located in Barrington, Illinois. The 20 year old company works with organizations ranging from start-up. The predominant client companies have 20 to 1,000 employees, although we work with many smaller and larger organizations. The focus of our services is to assist companies to locate, evaluate and hire the best candidates, develop and retain employees and to assist with termination when necessary. Dr. Richard Hammes, company president, is an organizational psychologist with extensive experience in management and human resource consulting. He has written manuals focused on career development, leadership skills, change management, performance appraisal, and interview training for managers. He has an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin and graduate degrees from the University of Chicago and Northern Illinois University. In addition to his consulting firm, Dr. Hammes has taught organizational and other psychology courses at several colleges for more than 25 years.
