Creative Care Children's Center and Creative Learning Montessori have as their goal to provide Chicago's Northwest Suburbs with excellence in education and child care. Our unique school and child care facility is located 1.5 miles south of Barrington's Village Center and is adjacent to the Health World Children's Museum. Creative Care Children's Center opened in 1985 to provide unparalleled care and education for infants to 6 year-olds with an emphasis on academic, emotional, and social growth. As children age they can attend Creative Learning Montessori School, an independent elementary school serving a maximum of 25 children. At Creative Learning Montessori we have been nurturing young learners in our elementary school since 1997 following the child-centered, peace-based educational philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori. Creative Care Children's Center and Creative Learning Montessori also offer an Elementary Extended Day program which allows students the opportunity to stay on-site if before or after school care is needed.
