Royal Janitorial Services was formed by William E. Gooding in 1983. In the beginning the company was composed of Bill Gooding and one employee. They concentrated on small business opportunities. Their first contract was with Minges Building in Greenville, North Carolina. That contract is still a part of Royal Janitorial Services. Today, Royal has over 100+ contract agreements and employs approximately 650 employees. With offices in Greenville, Raleigh and Charlotte, Royal currently serves accounts throughout the state of North Carolina as well as South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. We also provide services to several industrial plants, schools, colleges, health care markets and pharmaceutical manufacturers.
