NuScribe, Inc. was established with the idea of bringing the next generation of documentation creation to life. Voice Recognition software had been looked at as the next obvious step to the tedious task of creating repetitive documents in several industries, but none so much as the medical field. Unfortunately, for years the technology eluded the market, and premature voice recognition solutions were substandard and ineffective. Times have changed though, and the voice recognition technology has finally caught up to the expectations of the market. NuScribe has helped in these steps, and we have even been able to improve on some of the products available so that our clients get the absolute best voice recognition solution out there. NuScribe began operating with its SMR (Simplified Medical Record), which was an appliance-based voice recognition product, where doctors purchased and maintained their own "stand-alone" units. The client satisfaction rate for this product is extremely high and continues today. The next phase for NuScribe was to address the mass demand for the product and to add more services to the basic documentation creation and management system. To accomplish this, NuScribe developed NuScribe Online,an internet based application that securely stores the doctor's documents in a virtual repository. In addition to the basic service, NuScribe is now able to offer our clients certain additional conveniences, such as online prescription writing.
