Grassroots Solutions, a national consulting firm that specializes in grassroots organizing, political field consulting, targeting and training, is accepting resumes for several full-time field organizing and canvassing positions for a statewide referendum campaign based in Portland, Maine. The project lasts from June to November 2003. Applicants should have a basic understanding of the electoral process; be enthusiastic, flexible, and outgoing; comfortable with public speaking and routinely making "cold" door knocks or phone calls; and be able to work with diverse groups of people.
