The firm was started in January 1984, with a promise to always do four things: deliver unsurpassed client service; think "outside-the-box" to come up with innovative solutions; meet deadlines; and provide a professional atmosphere which would promote growth opportunities for every employee. Living up to those standards and putting together diverse and complex teams that are able to tackle anything has allowed us to grow rapidly from two to 250 employees with eight offices. And, we're still growing. While it's true we have had phenomenal growth, we will always remember that engineering requires the ability to think big, to consider a complex range of factors and arrive at a solution that addresses them all. At Bury+Partners, we give careful consideration not only to basic engineering solutions, but to all the variables-economic, feasibility, environmental impact, optimal timing-that determine a project's success. We'll also never forget that Bury+Partners's humble beginnings involved subletting a porch as workspace. Even as we grew and expanded we've never forgotten that happy clients and happy employees are the people who got us to where we are today. And, they are the same people who will get us to where we want to be next week, next month and the next millennium. And as we head into the next millennium, we always want our firm principals to be actively involved.
