The Auburn Jaycees are young adults who want to make a positive difference in our community. The Auburn Jaycees are also friends who have a lot of fun together. Whether we are participating in a community service project, like the Easter Egg Hunt, CornFest, Adopt-A-Highway, children's Halloween Party, Adopt-A-Family during the holidays, the list goes on, in all we do we enjoy working with each other most of all. The Auburn Jaycees is a leadership training organization for people ages 21 - 40. Much of the leadership training is accomplished through planning and participating in community service and fund-raising activities. Other leadership skills are learned by attending team-building seminars, teaching skills to new members and serving on the Board of Directors. And of course there are several social events in which to take part, just to have fun! There is no "minimum commitment" required from our members in terms of participation. But it's like anything else: the more you put into it, the more you get out of it! We all have busy schedules, but if we each take a piece of the pie, then we can make a difference. So ... if you want to meet interesting, enthusiastic people your age, better yourself, make an impact on your community, involve your children, or just participate as an adult, learning leadership skills you can use anywhere, and just have an all-around good time ...
