Gary K. Hemenway founded Payroll Management in October, 1989 in Auburn, Maine after seventeen years in the payroll industry. A family-owned business, Payroll Management is now one of the largest independent payroll companies in Maine. In fact, we have grown so much that we recently built a new facility in Auburn to accommodate our larger space requirements. Payroll Management understands the need for small and midsize businesses to have flexibility. While many of the large national payroll companies offer a one-size-fits-all plan, Payroll Management offers custom reports and is flexible to your special needs. Our company was founded with the goal to make life easier for you and your company. Payroll processing tasks become as simple as making a single telephone call or fax to your assigned payroll specialist. We do all the rest. Your sales representative will assist you in both the setup and training of your payroll system as well as be available to you as needed after the setup phase. One of our in-house payroll specialists will help you with your input of payroll information. And our full-time, in-house accountants (who specialize in payroll and payroll taxes) are available to answer all of your payroll questions.
