Our commercial clients span a range of industries but we have particular depth of experience in the automotive, financial services and governmental sectors. Kilpatrick & Associates has formed an alliance with Bodman LLP, one of Michigan's largest business law firms, which allows us to offer expanded services while continuing to offer each client prompt and personal attention. Over time the alliance will allow Kilpatrick & Associates to offer additional services as our attorneys are exposed to new areas of the law by working with Bodman's experienced practitioners. Kilpatrick & Associates, which is certified as a minority-owned firm by the Michigan Minority Business Development Council guidelines, is led by nationally-recognized bankruptcy attorney Richardo I. Kilpatrick. A graduate of Harvard University and the University of Michigan Law School and past president of the American Bankruptcy Institute, Mr. Kilpatrick formed the firm in 2000 to be able to focus on bankruptcy, creditors' rights and related matters. Today, the firm includes ten attorneys and a talented and experienced support staff who serve clients in Michigan and nationally from offices in Auburn Hills and Detroit.
