Target MarkeTeam was founded in 1987 by Ron Bell and Ann Hattaway. In recent years, Dan Carpenter, Jeff Huberty and Donna Jannace have become partners in the management team, bringing their unique skills to the agency. Capitalized billings for the privately-held agency exceeded $40,000,000 for calendar year 2004 in a broad variety of media. The agency's goal has always been to produce creatively-focused direct response efforts, regardless of the medium. Direct mail comprises approximately 70% of billings, design and creative fees 15%, database services 10% and print media approximately 5%. Nonprofit organizations represent well over 80% of all billings, with commercial accounts comprising the balance.
