Crescent Music Services is the only local company specializing in CD and DVD production and design. Her music clients include Ellis Marsalis, Charmaine Neville, and Basin Street Records (Kermit Ruffins, Los Hombres Calientes, Jon Cleary, Theresa Andersson, Irvin Mayfield). Crescent Music Services also provides distance learning materials for Loyola University, training CDs for Well Control School, and PR and teacher workshop CDs for the New Orleans Museum of Art. In addition, she designs collector's books about the Beatles for local, nationally acclaimed author and Beatles historian Bruce Spizer (www.beatle.net). In her spare time she fosters kittens for the Friends of the Jefferson Animal Shelter and recently started a non profit organization Animal Focus Network through which she compiled an online animal resource directory of over 2000 animal services and programs (www.animalfocusnetwork.org). "I started Crescent Music Services a few years after I had produced my own CD. Even though I made my living as a graphic designer, I fumbled around piecing my CD together with 'this' printer and 'that' replicator, not knowing what I was doing and figuring it out as I went along. I wish I knew then what I know now. I could have saved myself a lot of expense and would have ended up with a much better product. I realized that this is what I could help other musicians with. I have walked in their shoes and I understand how important their music is to them, and how difficult this part of the process can be. I know that they work hard for their money, and that their CDs are an investment into their future and an important marketing tool."
