Children's Special Services, LLC is a comprehensive therapy service for children from toddler through teen. CSS uses interactive therapeutic learning experiences that encompass both psychological and physiological development issues. We improve school and life skills by assessing and treating visual motor, coordination, visual processing and organizational skills. Our therapists specialize in handwriting and sensory motor skills. How can Children's Special Services help my teachers? Our clinic offers in-services to teachers on neurodevelopment and associated learning issues. We will come to your school or meeting place and deliver the needed course. CEUs are available as needed. In addition, we will come to your school and help teachers identify students with learning issues. We offer screenings to all students to obtain baseline performance areas for gross and fine motor and perceptual and social issues. We will also identify students that need further evaluation and OT services. Here are some other services we offer to teachers: Classroom modification Classroom observations Classroom activities to enhance educational concepts Teacher consultations Technology assistance Other services to help the school as a whole: Presentations to parents and or PTA Consultations to parents Assistance with equipment (selection and maintenance) Purchasing of supplies CSS only hires highly qualified Occupational Therapists (OTR). All therapists are mentored by a CSS therapist to insure quality of service.
