Our family law practice was founded with the purpose of serving clients and families living in North Carolina facing issues related to separation and divorce. Attorney Shannan Barclay Tuorto is passionate about her work and the families that she serves, aiming to provide insight and understanding in each case in order to create long lasting solutions for her clients. Shannan is a Board Certified Specialist in Family Law and Certified Family Financial Mediator, with expertise and experience in dealing with the complex legal issues surrounding separation and divorce including equitable distribution, postseparation support and alimony, child custody, child support and cases involving domestic violence. At Tuorto Family Law, we can also assist clients in drafting prenuptial, postnuptial and separation agreements. Shannan Barclay Tuorto won the Outstanding Service Award for Young Lawyers and was named the Top 10 Under 40 in North Carolina's National Academy of Family Law Attorneys.
