Altamont provides professional services related to the economics of solid waste management as well as engineering, hydrogeology, and other specialized services at landfills throughout the southeastern United States. Our experience includes older, closed facilities, as well as active Industrial, Construction and Demolition Debris, and Subtitle D landfills. Altamont actively monitors groundwater, surface water, and landfill gas at 15 privately and publicly owned landfills, and monitors and maintains ten landfill cap systems.
