At The Learning Place we offer full day or part time childcare and curriculum that include exciting and creative ways for your child to learn. Since opening our doors in 1999 in Ashburnham, MA, it has been our goal to encourage children to grow academically and socially while giving them the best care possible. We provide a nurturing environment that is designed to guide children to discover new information, concepts and skills at all learning levels so that your child can grow to his/her full potential. Our classroom setting is comfortable, cozy and playful. Our curriculum offers social, emotional, cognitive and academic experiences for children. Every child should feel safe, understood, and happy, and we take pride in knowing that our dedicated staff will always have your child’s best interest at hand. It’s very important to a child’s development that their individual needs be met, and we make it our goal to respect each child as an individual with a unique personality. With our low staff to child ratio (2:10), your child will receive specific attention when necessary, while learning to grow and develop alongside his/her classmates. We teach our children the importance of learning to respect themselves and others while encouraging a positive self-image. While offering a strong academic foundation, we feel it’s equally as important to focus on group socialization, as the first years in a classroom environment can be the beginning of many friendships for your child.
