Welcome to Doc Burnstein's Ice Cream Lab! We're very proud of our hand-crafted, super-premium ice cream. As our guest, you'll appreciate the only nostalgic ice cream parlor on the Central Coast, providing old-fashioned service with a smile. Proprietor Greg Steinberger opened Doc Burnstein's Ice Cream Lab in August 2003, in the location where his inspiration and mentor, Chuck Burns, opened Burnardo'z Candy Kitchen & Ice Cream Parlour in the 1980's. Greg and Chuck brought back all the quality and flavors that Chuck made famous in the Village in the late 70's and 80's, plus they are developing new and exciting flavors every week. Come in and see our model trains running around the parlor and over bridges, even through mountains in the party room. You can also watch through the Lab viewing window as the Doc and his Lab Assistants make their super-creamy inventions, right before your eyes.
