Appleton Supply is a division of Gibraltar Industries. Gibraltar Industries is a leading manufacturer, processor, and distributor of metals and other engineered materials for the building products, vehicular, and other industrial markets. We classify our operations into two segments: Building Products and Processed Metal Products. Since our 1993 Initial Public Offering, we have strategically repositioned Gibraltar, dramatically changing its size, scope, product offering, customer mix, and geographic coverage, all of which position the Company for even stronger performance in the future. The Company serves a large number of customers in a variety of industries in all 50 states, and throughout the world. It has approximately 3,400 employees and operates 74 facilities in 26 states, Canada, and China. Gibraltar's goal is to establish a leadership position in all of its businesses. Currently, we are North America's leading ventilation product manufacturer, mailbox manufacturer, and cold-rolled strip steel producer. We are the number-two manufacturer of structural connectors, and also hold numerous leadership positions throughout our other product and service offerings.
