Perceptions is a public relations company that provides PR counseling and various corporate and marketing communications services to business and industrial organizations, government institutions as well as trade and professional associations. Its basic services include PR Counseling & Planning, Editorial & Publicity, Advertising, Special Events Management, Graphic Design, Publications, Audio Visual Presentations, Exhibits and Media Training. Rene Nieva, its chairman and president, organized the company in January 1987. Nieva is an experienced PR professional who has worked with leading PR agencies in Manila and New York. Today Perceptions is considered one of the country's leading PR and corporate communications agencies, counting some of the country's leading companies and the world's top multinational firms among its clients. It has also won numerous local and international PR Awards, including the top PR award, the Grand Anvil Award in 2003 and 2005. The company has a full-time complement of 35 people, half of whom are involved in PR account management, and the other half in support services such graphic design, production, event management, administration and finance.
