The Heritage Harbour Community Association is made up of 1,611 Class A memberships and a varying number of recreational memberships from the "old" coves area of the Community. The Association is governed by a Board of Directors made up of seven Directors and by four Association Officers (President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary). Each Director is elected by the Class A members of one of the seven election Districts. Board-chartered Committees support the Board of Directors in accordance with their individual charters. The Architectural and Environmental Review Committee (AERC) supports the Board by reviewing and monitoring changes to the exterior of members' properties. The Officers and Board of Directors manage the affairs of the Association in accordance with the Association By-Laws and Declaration of Covenants. The Board has supplemented these governing documents by adoption of Resolutions. The responsibilities of the Board include the care and upkeep of the common areas and community facilities, operation of the common facilities, provision of community services, and enforcement of the Covenants and By-Laws. The Board normally meets in open session on the second Wednesday of each month in the Lodge. Agendas and minutes of regular Board meetings are available for review in the Library in the Lodge.
