Corman Construction has been in continuous operation since 1920 when we were founded as a Washington, D.C. contracting firm, primarily engaged in the construction of city streets and highways. Over the years, Corman, now based in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, has grown into a multi-disciplinary contracting company employing over 400 people, some of whom have been with the Company for decades. Over the more than 80 years since our founding, we have expanded our work capabilities to include bridge construction and repair, underground utility work, tunnel construction, and marine construction. As our capabilities have grown, our geographical operating area has expanded through the Mid-Atlantic states. This diversification and expansion has been achieved through the development of a dedicated management team with broad expertise in heavy and civil construction. We take on the toughest jobs, and through planning, creative engineering, value engineering, and hard work, we complete projects ahead of schedule while maintaining the highest level of quality.
