Mitten Press, an imprint of Ann Arbor Media Group, was started in July 2005. We publish titles to appeal to young readers and parents alike. Each year we work with talented authors and illustrators to bring our customers the very finest in children's literature. Our first year saw the release of four books. In the following years, we've grown to an offering of ten new titles each year. A number of the books are set around our home in the Great Lakes region, but we also offer numerous titles of interest nationally and regionally in other areas of the country. We publish fiction that teaches young people about the world around them in the context of an enjoyable story. As a small press, we pride ourselves on working closely with our authors and illustrators as well as the retailers who sell our titles.
