Founded in 1996, Thantex Inc is of one of the few companies where nonwoven products are developed and manufactured vertically, from the production of polypropylene fibers to the finished roll goods. As an innovative nonwoven manufacturer producer with the state of the art equipment, Thantex supplies high quality nonwoven goods for a wide range of applications including furniture and bedding, construction, filtration, geotextile, medical and hygiene, spill control, consumer, as well specialty markets. The manufacture plant is located at Andrews, South Carolina, in a 60,000 square foot building that houses 3 needlepunch lines and a fiber extrusion line. Thantex Andrews plant has the flexibility to produce high quality nonwoven products ranging from 1.5 oz/yd2 to 16 oz/yd2 with fabric width up to 216 inches. Thantex Inc is the Industrial Fabrics Division of Thantex Holdings, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the InterTech Group, a privately owned leading-edge technology company.
