Founded in 2003 by Travis Chapman, Chapman Media Group is a production and marketing company based in Orange County, California that specializes in the fitness, health, and sports industries. Their first show, The Fit Show, an Internet series focusing on bodybuilding, figure, and fitness experienced impressive growth and success over its four seasons and in 2007 was honored with a Telly Award for excellence in an online sports show. Over the last three years CMG has seen an extraordinary expansion. The company has moved from a cramped garage to a spacious office, and the staff has grown from one dreamer to a team of talented writers, producers, editors, camera operators, cinematographers, and 3D animators. Today, the expansion of CMG has allowed the company to take on more projects. CMG is also proud to be the production company chosen by the biggest bodybuilding contest, the Mr. Olympia, to take charge of the webcast. Thanks to the efforts of Chapman Media Group, for the first time in history the Olympia was made available to the world, for free. 2007 also included webcasts of the Arnold Classic, The Ironman, and The New York Pro. Several other Internet TV shows are in pre-production and are slated to premiere sometime this year. Chapman Media Group is also the production company behind PersonalTrainerTV.com. On top of all this, CMG also produces DVDs like the hilarious and insightful series starring Shawn Ray, Fitness After 40. CMG is most excited about the recent launch of TheFitnessNetwork.tv.
