The club offers ice sessions in freestyle and moves-in-the-field. The club's Learn-to-Skate program offers a group lesson weekly in the basic skills of figure skating to skaters age 4 through adult. Private instruction is also available. The Skating Club of Amherst is a private, non-profit organization managed by dedicated adult volunteers. The club is a member of the New England Interclub Council and the United States Figure Skating Association.
