The Silk House Café is a restored 1826 coffeehouse operating in the Ambridge Historic District in Ambridge, Pennsylvania. Located just blocks from Old Economy Village, the building is believed to have played a major role in the Harmonists' famous silk industry. Now owner Cindy Bologna-Ridge has revitalized the area by renovating and converting the Silk House into a modern coffeehouse. Since opening in August of 2005, the Silk House Café has maintained the collective goal of providing gourmet coffee and espresso drinks, delicious desserts, scrumptious sandwiches, free secure wireless internet access, meeting facilities, live entertainment, and business catering.
