Merrill Transportation Services, Inc. was established in 1982 by Tim and Vickie Merrill. Our services began with a single tractor/refrigerated trailer. We chose Amarillo deliberately, seeing the need for a qualified transportation service to assist carriers in the Texas Panhandle. Today MTS brokers freight worldwide transporting thousands of loads per year. We handle freight both here in the US and abroad, open code (e.g. Russia and Egypt). MTS utilizes "logistic trailers" to move trade show furnishings, entertainment equipment and other shock sensitive freight throughout the US. We provide complete logistic traffic services to those customers who use us as their traffic department. MTS is a full service transportation brokerage.
