A to Z is a full service dealership that offers mechanical, road service and tires of every size and shape. A to Z Tire continues to grow due to its belief that people buy tires from people. We work hard to develop solid relationships with our customers. A to Z Tire has 135 vehicles that provide delivery and road services to our customers. With credit available to all our customers, we sell tires throughout the following states: AZ, CO, KS, LA, MT, ND, NM, OK, SD, TX, UT and WY. The sale of tires and retreads represent 92% of our sales. Currently, about 50% of our sales are wholesale and the remaining 50% represents sales to commercial businesses, both small and large. We do very little advertising. Our main method of acquiring new business is through word of mouth and direct solicitation. We purchase tires from the following suppliers: Toyo, National, Cooper, Ohtsu, Marangoni, Kumho, Yokohama, Cheng/Shin, Maxis, Long March, Nankang, Alpha, Denman, China Manufacturers Alliance, Double Coin, Firestone, Bridgestone, Hankook, Carlisle, General, and Continental. Originally founded by two brothers, Martin and George Nussbaum in 1926 as Amarillo Bus Company, A to Z Tire is still a family owned business, now into its fourth generation. In addition to the tire business, A to Z also owns two Tire Retread Plants and an equipment business to supply Tire dealers.
