D.E.A.F., Inc was founded by Deaf leaders from the National Association of the Deaf and the Massachusetts State Association of the Deaf and has served the Boston Metropolitan community since 1977. It is one of the first multi-service community based agencies run by and for people who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. D.E.A.F., Inc is primarily funded by donations, grassroots fundraising events, and United Way of Massachusetts Bay.
