Current GIC Group initiatives and activities include: The GIC Group Latin America Agribusiness: Distressed Asset Fund allows individuals and institutions to invest in the purchase, management, restructure, and ultimate divestiture of eligible distressed assets in Latin America. Trustee for two Federal Trade Commission (FTC)-imposed divestitures of certain assets sold to Bayer for the United States and Canada, and Syngenta. Working with the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS) to establish markets for Virginia products in various regions of the world.
