John Shomaker & Associates, Inc. (JSAI) is an employee-owned corporation that has been providing professional services in water-resource development, environmental assessment, and reclamation for over 30 years. Dr. John W. Shomaker established the consulting practice in 1973 as a sole-proprietorship. The practice was incorporated in 1986, and, in 1994, the name was changed to John Shomaker & Associates, Inc., Water-Resource and Environmental Consultants (JSAI), to recognize the dedicated and highly proficient staff that had been established. JSAI is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dr. Shomaker's knowledge, understanding, and capabilities play a vital role in all JSAI projects. Through careful selection and the introduction of highly motivated, qualified, and versatile people, he has assembled an impressive team to provide a full range of ground-water related studies. JSAI provides expertise in local and regional water planning, drilling technology and field supervision of drilling projects, ground-water sampling and data collection, ground-water flow modeling, environmental geochemistry, water-quality modeling, ground-water and soil remediation, and regulatory compliance. The corporation operates as a complete unit, each individual vital to success, with the leaders overseeing and in direct communication. Our professional staff includes hydrogeologists, geochemists, geologists, a report specialist, a GIS/AutoCAD Technician/Draftsperson, and administrative personnel.
