Some fifty plus years later, Morse Bros. is recognized both locally and nationally as one of Oregon's leading providers of aggregate based services. We are one of this state's largest suppliers of Aggregates, Asphaltic Concrete, Ready Mix Concrete, Prestress Concrete, and Light Grading and Paving Contracting services. Our 650 Team Members, working out of some 29 separate locations in Oregon, generate approximately $123 million in annual sales. In 1998, Morse Bros., Inc. merged with MDU Resources Group, Inc. a publicly owned Bismarck, ND company, becoming a subsidiary of Knife River Corporation. MDU is currently traded over the New York stock exchange. Our company has five major operational groups - The Highway Group provides light grading and paving services and operates several asphalt plants. Our Materials Group mines and manufactures all of our aggregate products. They also produce and deliver ready mix concrete and also operate several asphalt plants. The Prestress Group has two manufacturing plants, located in Harrisburg and Clackamas, producing concrete bridge decks and girders, hollow core panels, parking structures, water tanks, and building panels. Our Administration Group provides financial, human resources and information services. The Maintenance Group manages all of our physical properties as well as over 1000 pieces of rolling stock - trucks, vehicles, and equipment.
