Arthur Place & Company was established in April, 1980 by men and women, most of whom has had significant previous experience with sizable local or national accounting firms, who desired to make a more responsive contribution to the needs of sophisticated businesses and non-profit organizations. Arthur Place & Company offers a wide range of services in the areas of accounting, auditing, computer systems, taxation, and consulting. Besides annual audits, the Firm performs specialized engagements which include accounting systems design, installation and improvement of computer and manual systems, evaluation of internal controls, business valuations and extensive tax planning, research and representation services. The Firm is a member of the International Group of Accounting Firms, one of the largest accounting associations in existence today. The Firm is also a member of a peer review program under the Private Companies Practice Section (PCPS) of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts. The primary benefit of these relationships is to provide our clients local-firm service with national-level support.
