Insurance is a form of risk management which protects people or objects from financial loss. Types of insurance include property or home insurance for your house, liability insurance, life insurance, vehicle insurance for cars, trucks and motorbikes, title insurance (a form of indemnity insurance), travel insurance for your luggage while traveling, health insurance to cover medical and sometimes dental fees, personal liability insurance and mobile phone insurance to protect against theft or loss. Insurance companies hedge against the risk of an uncertain event by providing a contract called an insurance policy. In the event of damage, people are able to claim from your insurance rather than you having to pay the costs.
