John Wargo, President and Founder of McNelly SoftWorks, has had a long career in the technology business. Starting out in product technical support at a PC Dealer in Akron, Ohio, he has spent the past 20 years designing and delivering solutions and products for the business community. John's work at Realogic and Wolcott Systems Group earned him prestigious awards from IBM/Lotus. Every year, IBM selects a handful of business partners out of thousands who develop top industry tools and awards them with it's highest recognition - a Beacon Award. An application John designed won the 1997 IBM Beacon Award for Biggest Business Impact and his Automated Deployment Toolkit (ADT) created for Wolcott Systems Group was awarded a Beacon Award in the Best Tool/Utility Category. ADT was also nominated and/or was a finalist in almost every year of the product's existence. ADT is currently sold by IBM and other business partners across the world. Other tools that John developed include ClientSync and ConfigSave for Lotus Notes. ConfigSave won Advisor Magazine's Editors Choice award for Cool New Tool. John has published several articles in industry publications such as Lotus Advisor Magazine and e-Pro Magazine. John is also a regular speaker at industry conferences. As a USSF State level Soccer Referee and State Level Referee instructor, John is a long-time sports official. McNelly SoftWorks is the marriage of his expertise in developing and delivering award-winning software products and the love of sports. John has taken his understanding of sports officiating and administration and built tools tools that save time and simplify tasks.
