VIP HomeCare, Inc. has been serving clients since 1995. We have experienced consistent growth every year. The majority of our clients are located in Summit County but we also have clients in Portage and Stark counties. VIP HomeCare, Inc. is owned by M. Diane Johnson, RN, JD. VIP management has in depth home care experience on both a professional and personal level. We believe that this experience drives us to hire people as committed as we are to giving excellent service to our clients. As a Home Health Aide (HHA) you will assist clients with activities of daily living. Some of these activities are:Personal care - bathing, dressing. Toileting - changing diapers and pads or helping on and off the commode. Mobility - helping clients in and out of bed or chair, transferring, and walking. Meal preparation - making or assisting with meals or snacks, assisting with eating. Homemaking - Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, light dusting, dishes and laundry. Errands - grocery shopping or pharmacy pick ups. As activities of daily living happen all day and all night - work is scheduled to meet the client's needs. VIP Home Health Aides work a variety of schedules: days - 8am to 5pm, evenings, 5pm to 11pm and nights. Some work part time, others full time. Schedules, including the hours for which work is available and the hours you are available to work, are discussed at the interview. All home health aides are required to work one full weekend every four weeks and one holiday per year. Our aides work in the clients' homes when the clients need service, so flexibility is expected of all our staff. In addition to the work required, the clients need some one who listens to them and is supportive of their wants and needs. They need to know that the person caring for them also cares about them. They expect and deserve Home Health Aides that are both competent and caring. We want all our staff to treat our clients like the special and important people that they are.
