Freedom Restoration Ministries Inc
Info
Freedom Restoration Ministries, Inc. was founded in 1999 as a result of the sincere desire of Jack Pruett to see people reenter society successfully after incarceration. His prayer and burden was to help those being destroyed through addiction, abuse, and the inability to find lasting freedom, become Godly productive members of society. The ministry was officially incorporated in Oklahoma as a non-profit corporation in 1999, and was granted a 501c(3) non-profit organization status by the IRS in 2001. Freedom Restoration Ministries is currently governed by 12 Board members which share a burden and commitment to the purpose, vision, and objectives of the ministry. FRM operates Beaver Creek Baptist Church. We hold services at least twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Sunday evenings at 6pm. These services are open to the public. Freedom Restoration Ministries currently operates a prison ministry including County Jails and State, Federal, and private prisons for men and women, and teens. The prison ministry also includes a once a year Hope for the Holidays program which takes gifts, fellowship and the hope of the gospel into prisons and juvenile detention facilities in Oklahoma at Christmas time. The goal of Freedom Restoration Ministries is to one day have representatives preaching, teaching, and discipling men, women and children in all of the correctional facilities in Oklahoma. Freedom Restoration Ministries also operates a Residential Discipleship Center for men and women on the 40 acres near Agra Oklahoma. We currently have a brand new dormitory that can hold up to 12 men and a small house that can hold up to 5 women. (Note: Women's home is currently being remodeled). These restoration facilities are a place where individuals and families being destroyed by addictions can find help. This program is and will continue to be developed into a pattern that can be duplicated in other areas around the country to further our long term purpose; to bring Christ-centered healing and restoration to individuals and families being destroyed by additions and/or abuse, empowering them to become production members of society. Future plans for Freedom Restoration Ministries include the building of a brand new women's dormitory that can house up to 8 women and 2 women with children. Further plans include a restoration community with housing for single dads with children, and families seeking healing and restoration. Freedom Restoration Ministries also has a burden for the homeless and outcast of Oklahoma.
