Traffic increased after WWII, and so did the need to control it. Early in 1946, Joseph Lizzadro, Sr., then Board Chairman of Meade Electric Company, and his associate Mr. Edward R. Hansen, formed Traffic Control Corporation. Its mission was to act as a distributor of traffic signal control equipment.
