The Acton Memorial Library is much more than a structure of brick and mortar. It represents a community that puts the highest value on education and growth for every citizen. William Wilde conceived the Acton Memorial Library more than 100 years ago as a memorial to patriotism and as a tool for providing knowledge to all. In this spirit, it will continue to stand at the heart of our town, as a repository of learning and as a center in which our community may come together. We hope you will join with us in donating to the Annual Appeal or to the Endowment Fund to ensure the continuation of this essential and invaluable institution. The board of directors of the AMLF, Inc. serves on a volunteer basis and there are no paid staff members.
