CPR is the only all-purpose resource for lawyers seeking outstanding arbitrators and mediators, the latest ADR case decisions and practice guidelines, CLE courses, publications and conferences, here and abroad. We are pioneers and leaders in the area of dispute resolution. In February 2004, CPR received the highest satisfaction ratings in ADR performance in a survey of General Counsel and their Deputies by Corporate Legal Times. And we were the first organization to bring together Corporate Counsel and their law firms to find ways of mitigating the extraordinary costs and delays of litigation, while achieving more satisfying and lasting results through appropriate alternatives, like negotiation, mediation, and arbitration. We work around the globe and, as such we serve as a primary multinational resource for avoidance, management and resolution of business-related and other disputes. Most recently, in partnership with The China Council for Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), we established the U.S.-China Business Mediation Center in New York and Beijing. We are a membership-based, nonprofit alliance of global corporations, law firms, scholars, and public institutions dedicated to the principles of conflict prevention and solution through alternative dispute resolutions.
