Since 1994, Coastal Behavioral Healthcare has maintained accreditation through the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), the nation's oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in health care. In 2006, Coastal was recertified and achieved the Gold Seal of Approval.
