GYDesign, Incorporated is a environmental graphics design firm based in St. Louis, MO, founded by Gregory A. Youngstrom in 1991. Prior to the establishment of GYDesign, Mr. Youngstrom was Director of Graphic Design for five years at HGA Architects, a leading St. Louis - based architectural firm, and Vice President of Graphic Design for nine years at the St. Louis - based internationally acclaimed architectural firm of Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum (HOK). Mr. Youngstrom has been a Professional Member in good standing of the Society for Environmental Graphic Design (SEGD) since 1980. The primary focus of GYDesign has been the design of retail environmental graphics programs for super-regional malls, regional malls and shopping centers throughout the US and abroad. Clients have included most of the premier retail development and real estate companies in the US, including Simon Property Group, CBL Associates Properties, Homart Development, General Growth Properties, JMB/Urban Retail Properties, Taubman Centers, Inc., May Centers, Inc., Trizec Development, Hycel Properties and CenterMark Properties. The GYDesign portfolio also includes corporate identity and logo design, architectural signage and wayfinding programs.
