Jeff serves as a CFO and Director of Home Improvement Ministries; an organization dedicated to building stronger relationships between husbands and wives, and parents and children. He has his Bachelors in psychology and is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors where he continues on-going training in counseling and coaching. Jeff is an inspirational speaker for men's groups incorporating God's principles on topics relating to relationship enrichment. He has developed many enrichment programs for couples and parenting; making use of his training, education, and Biblical ethics. Ruth is President and CEO of Home Improvement Ministries. She has her BS in Pastoral Care with a minor in Counseling. She too is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors where she also continues her coaching and lay counseling training. In addition to her schooling, co-teaching with her husband, and on-going research for the ministry, she has been a sought after inspirational speaker for MOPS, Coffee Break, Circle of Friends, and women's retreats. She uses humor and truth to teach principles for improved communication skills, relationship building, personal assessment and growth. Both Jeff and Ruth have effectively implemented a coaching style in dealing with couples experiencing difficulties in their relationships. They have both completed the "Follow-Up Mentor" training course for the Gary Smalley Relationship Center in Branson , MO. They now serve as follow-up mentors on behalf of the Relationship Center for couples who have attended the Center's marriage crisis program. In addition they have invested thousands of hours in research and study under the instruction of steadfast Christian experts in the areas of: coaching, relationship enrichment, and counseling.
