He completed his orthopaedic surgery internship and residency at National Naval Medical Center at Bethesda, MD. Dr. Mezzanotte earned his fellowship certification in orthopaedic traumatology in the Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery Fellowship program at Orlando Regional Medical Center under Fellowship Director, Andrew Burgess, MD.
