Career Point is a private nonprofit corporation founded in 1996 by the Greater Holyoke Chamber of Commerce, the Massachusetts Division of Career Services, Holyoke Community College, the UMass/Donahue Institute, and the Department of Transitional Assistance. Combining the expertise of these five organizations with our many community partners in workforce development, CareerPoint strives to represent the best the career center system has to offer. In our eight-year history CareerPoint has already won two national awards, including the One-Stop Career Center of the Year award from the National Alliance of Business and The Career Center/ Community College Collaboration award from the National Association of Community Colleges.
