North Garland Montessori School (NGMS) was established in 1997 under the direction of Mr. Manooch Varasteh. NGMS pioneered Montessori education in Garland. Our school is the first and oldest non-sectarian Montessori School in Garland.
North Garland Montessori School has programs for toddlers, primary and elementary level children. In addition, we also offer enrichment programs that will help the children discover how to maximize their potential.
The primary classroom consists of twenty-four to twenty-five children ages three to six with two trained Montessori teachers and an assistant. Children in a multiage group learn how to get along with others, respect their rights and share in an environment where there is only one set of every material.
